    Default 2001 honda odyssey ex

Not what most people on here are looking to get, but I figured I would post it up anyway. Up for sale is our 2001 honda odyssey ex with 149,000 miles. It has all the bells and whistles including the 3.5 vtech motor, power sliding rear doors, traction control, rear air, cd and cassette player, power everything, cruise, tilt, and has been well maintained. A/c and heat both work great in front and rear, The interior is in good shape with minimal wear, the floor mats do have stains, but the carpet has very little wear. The body is in good shape as well, no dents or major damage, but does have some small scuffs. The motor and transmission are in perfect running condition with no problems. We are the 2nd owners and have owned the van for over 2 years now and it has been great to our family, but it is time to upgrade. I run a tire and auto shop, so I have always kept up with the maintainence. I replaced the catalytic converter at 125,000 miles. Timing belt was done at 90k and will need to be done again at 180k. The brakes and rotors were replaced at 135k. Other than that, just scheduled maintainence. It has current emissions and clean title in hand. The only problem with the van is it has a cracked windshield. I am located in Cumming, ga and am available just about anytime. If interested or have any questions please dont hesitate to email me or call 770-789-4095 I am asking $5600.

If I left anything out or if you have any questions just let me know

I had to drive my mom's 01 odyssey for a few weeks when my 240 broke...I love them. Very smooth and they've got a bit of getup.

    Good luck.

Thanks for the comment. Yeah, I believe they have 244 hp, not bad for a minivan. It is a very smooth ride and drives just as good if not better than my accord that has less miles. My wife loves it, but is ok with me selling it as long as I get her an 05 or newer.

No it is the original tranny. My uncle has worked for milton martin honda for 18 years and I asked him to find me a 1 owner that has been well maintained and he found this one. I have never had any problems out of the tranny at all. He said some had problems and others didnt, I guess we were one of the lucky ones.

Have you had any issues with the Tranny? I had one and we had to get the tranny replaced at 70k. Besides that the thing was solid as a tank!
..sorry i posted that after the other post!
Yeah, the Odyssey, Honda Accord, and Acura CL all had bad trannies. Most had to be replaced but i'm sure some people got lucky.

Yeah I still have it. The last tranny service was at 90k. The owners manual suggest that it is serviced every 90k miles. A woman that is interested in it took it to a shop yesterday and had it inspected and the only thing they said is that it could use was an alignment and everything else is good at the moment.

Well they were more than happy to pay it and Im sure she will be happy, since she is going from a chrysler minivan with over 200k to a odyssey, she wont know what to think. kbb on it was $5500 in good and $6000 in excellent, so I dont see how that was high? I had about 5 offers for 5k, but I knew it would bring atleast 5200 and I was right it only took me 3 days to sell. Thanks to everyone who was interested
