    Yo,
I tried to get a set of RS 1.0 grilles for my Black Cherry TC, but Scion sells them for like $750, per grille (it's limited edition).
I called some folks over at TRDSPARKS.com and they explained that the grilles are VERY expensive b/c they don't want people to buy them and build their own "RS 1.0". That crap sucks cuz a friend of mine has one and I wanted the same grille setup. Anyway, I made my own grille and it looks pretty good. My homeboy and I put it together and it took about 3 hrs. (cutting, measuring, painting, etc.). You could probably still buy the grilles, but I think you can find a better use for $750, ya know!

Basically you remove (cut out) the center piece of the OEM grill then replace it with a high quality plastic/metal mesh or even gutter guard. We used a high quality gutter guard for mine. If you cut and measure right, the grill will look seamless in the OEM frame. It sounds complicated but check out my homeboy's on Car domain:

The picture isn't the best, but you get the idea. My grill is the same, just with the tc badge on the driver's side corner. His has an official TRD badge...
