Default do people really do that?

So, I'm at autozone buying some hose clamps, when a woman walks in and asks..."is there anyone who can check to see if I need oil?" I don't know what the conversation was after that, but they sent the woman back out to her car with paper towels lol.

    Do people really do that?

I knew a girl in high school who didn't know cars used oil... never added or changed it. She was surprised when it seized up and died on her.

Some people are just stupid. No "I aint no nothin bout no cars" excuse can ever work for that, it's a need to know type of thing.

I think everyone should know how to change their oil. Terry Schaivo could've done that shit if someone showed her how to.
