    So an old friend of mine is trying to find out what kind of car her parents had when she was born.

    It is a 1962 Impala 4 door post car like this!
    Check the door lines and the bumper corner.

    this is the one with the sport package hard top roof, also check at the bottom betwine the doors the litlle triangle shape pice of sheetmetal uniqe to these cars, shown also on the provided picture, been a post roof it also could be a SW!
