it was wild. i just made it up to heaven for midnight. AK was spinning, i was in the zone and all of a sudden everything cut off and they made people use the emergency exit. there was cops and ambulances everywhere. AK and diesel boy went to the globe and everybody followed them there lol good times.

its all a matter of taste man, to me what i posted beats the hell out of that song.

im sure no one could post anything that beats that song to you, that your challenge, if thats what it is, is kind of pointless.

I remember every single event listed in this thread and every club. Oh dear... those are some memories there. I spent so much time at Nike, Pyramid, West End Warehouse, etc in 99-00. I was actually at the first party ever at the Tabernacle back in 97. It wasn't all dnb though, I literally took a nap during Bad Boy Bill's set. lol.

As for the Vault, I remember one night up there, I think it may have been when Shy FX played... I can't remember... but some asshat threw a brick through the window of one of the shops next door. Who had Wednesday nights? I think it was the club over off of Amsterdam Drive near Piedmont Park. I know I saw DJ Funk there, that was interesting.

And yes, dubstep is really big right now. We still have a pretty active scene here in Atlanta. Unfortunately, we don't have Evol Intent multiple times a month anymore but it's still a good scene.

I actually started in about 93 but I was a youngin and didn't live in Atlanta. I was in SC and the big thing to do back then was go to the various Beyond parties in Greensboro, NC and there was a nice series of actual warehouse parties in Augusta. I was most active about 97 to 2001 as well. Got a car and a little $$ from work and just couldn't help myself.

I used to spin a little and still have all of my favorite old DnB on vinyl at home.
