need help with a oil pump
ok i gotta h23vtec motor from jei an put it in my 98 prelude well we switched oil pumps where it would have a crank angle sensor an now the oil pump dont work at all what could be my issue we jus put new bearings in it an an got the crank polished so dont wanna mess em up.

Yea lol I drove the car with that motor In for 4 months then the keyway sheered an instead of replacing the crank I bout that h23 an everythin works except the oil pump so I'm trying to get it fixed
It had an h22 in it an that's the motor that screwed up so I took that oil pump of my h22 an put it on the h23 where it would hve a crank angle sensor
are u sure its the oil pump. have u put a press gauge on it.
Yes I'm sure it the the oil pump cuz the oil light is on an oil pressure gauge isn't gonna help if there isn't any oil pressure in the first place they checked the pressur reliev valve an it was workin right so what could be the problem

well if the bearings was not within spec and you didnt plasti gauge it will cause no oil pressure sounds like you didn't know what you was doing on the rebuild, leave it to the pros
