I almost lost my EJ1 (fuckicyroads) |Khris H.|

After leaving my house on my way to work @ 12:30 i was only 2mins away from my house. I was rolling about 12-15mph and hit some serious ice which cause the car to begin to slide to the right.. My quick thinking i slowly applied the brake locked the steering wheel to the left, pulled the e-brake and held on.. The car then came to a stop like THIS:

After waiting for about hour and a half for AAA my neighbor stopped in his way back in from work, then went to his house and got his Ford Excursion and pulled me out.. The car is totally fine, just lookin at these pics im still shaking my head..

I was on the gas when it was sliding, i hit the gas a few times but it was steady going that direction so i said i might as well try to stop it plus i was not tryin to go off the edge..

yeah AAA is hella slow when you need them for something simple i locked my keys in my hatch and it took them nearly a hour and 45 mins and the dispatcher told me "oh hes like 15 mins away"
