    Default The Old School Thread.

    Does anyone else think the current cartoon lineup shown on TV is straight up BS? Last Saturday i woke up unusually early, and decided id try and watch some cool saturday morning cartoons.. but what did i find? A bunch of crap. I then went on itunes and downloaded one of my favorite cartoons from Saturday mornings in 1993.. EXOSQUAD. Of course watchign this reminded me of all the other cool cartoons from growing up..

    (I cant find shit on this sadly)

    Spiderman


    And there were multiple good Batman series in the 90s.

    I miss old school cartoons.

    (I also left out transformers because im a transformers freak)

    A lot of the shows I watched through the 70s are on now through Boomerrang. Tom & Jerry, Hong Long Phooey, Flintstones, Scooby Doo. They were just new then. Later, QD.

    Man im not calling you old, but my dad always sang the Hong Kong Phooey song, and always talked about how Speed Racer was his favorite cartoon as a kid. This is the mid-20s old school thread, haha.

    I still enjoy a rerun or two of the wacky racers.

    Man I have been bitching about this FOREVER! Cartoons back in the day, 70,80,90, were the shit! We had everything from the Superfriends, Turbo Teen, to Voltron. Now what is it? Crap! You cant find ANY good cartoons on now on the regular networks. I used to wake up at 7am on Saturday and eat a bowl of cerial and watch cartoons till 11...when all the crap adult shows and news would switch over. This is probably 100% the reason kids are fucked up now a days....no decent Saturday morning cartoon line up :-(

    I did the same thing last saturday, shit was weeeak. Do you remember seeing the original Hot Wheels cartoon? Or Hotwheels cereal with car inside?
