    Default automatic vacuum cleaners??

    anyone ever had one? i know it sounds like a really lazy post but with my dog shedding as much as he does i was curious about one.

    well they sell them for pools, so i cant see why they wouldnt sell them for indoor use.

    They do, I remember for a while they were popular then they like died out. Kind of like the automatic lawn mowers.

    I had a roomba for a long time... worked quite well on carpet, but not so good on hardwood.
    Everything is better when it's on fire.

    We have roomba's and a dirt dog. The dirt dog is meant for garage sweeping as it does not have a vacuum in it. Its like a broom. Works well on hard surfaces and is considerably cheaper then the roomba models. Last time at fry's they had them for like 80 bucks. Be prepared to buy a new battery every year and a half though.
