Default 2005 Honda TRX450R (GNCC XC-1 Ready! Former Bryan Cook Race Quad)

Not really pushing the sale, basically just checking interest on some trades. Looking for either a nice lifted full sized truck, lifted wrangler, or a nice Mustang/Camaro/Trans Am/etc.

Here's the deal, the price may seem high, but if you know the sport, know the names, and know the money spent on this quad you will understand. I picked this up in late August from Bryan Cook (XC-1 Pro Class GNCC rider). It was used as his 06 nationals quad, and 07 back up... since then all the bearings/bushings/seals/gaskets where replaced and it was stored in a climate controlled building. When I bought it I checked everything over, went through the motor, made sure everything was up to par and ready to race. I had planned to use this for my 2010 Pro-Am quad, but lately have been questioning my dedication to the sport...

    Year: 2005
    Make: Honda
    Model: TRX450R (Kickstart)
    Price: $9,000 or Trade

    Mods:
-ATP Built national motor (Top secret specs ~72hp, over $6,000 alone)
-Ohlins TTX front shocks (205 lbs XC-1 rider)
    -DeRisi Racing long travel a-arms
    -DeRisi Racing XC linkage
-DeRisi Racing 07 revalved rear shock (205 lbs XC-1 rider)
    -Lonestar Racing adjustable axle
-Lonestar Racing wheel, sprocket, and brake hubs
    -Braking rotors
    -EBC pads
    -Barnett clutch
    -Hinson clutch basket
-IMS oversized tank (With screw on cab, can include drybreak as well)
    -Quadtech hump seat (needs cover)
    -Tag +1 Anti-Vibe steering stem
    -Tag bar clamp
-Pro Taper Contour 1 1/8" bars
-ATP gussetted and powdercoated frame and subframe
    -PRM bumper
    -Tag skidplates
    -Pro Armor grab bar
    -JT sprockets
    -D.I.D. X-Ring chain
-Douglas .190 wheels (Can include HiPer Beadlocks with brand new Maxxis tires and Tireballs for additional $$)
    -Maxxis tires
    -GPR top mount steering stabilizer
    -HMF Sport Series full system
    -UNI air filter
    -Houser air box lift
    -DG Pro Peg nerf bars
-ASV clutch perch/lever with hot start lever
    -Motion Pro cables
    -Pro Design tether kill switch
-Custom throttle setup (EXTREMELY LIGHT push)
    -Lakers Customs fenders
    -Maier racing hood
    -DeRisi Racing graphic kit
    -Fluidyne radiator
    Much Much more...

    The Good:
    -XC-1 ready as is
-TONS of power at all RPM's
    -Over $3,000 in suspension alone

    The Bad:
    -Normal wear and tear
    -Ripped seat

    IMPORTANT!!!!
The quads compression ratio is 14:1, this meaning it requires 110 octane fuel. I am a Torco Race Fuels dealer and can hook you up on fuel, but will NOT be responsible for any damage done to this quad by not running a proper fuel.

This quad is no for the faint of heart, it is EXTREMELY fast. The freshened up motor has 4 races on it so approx. 8 hours on the top and bottom end. All bearings/bushings/seals have less than 12 hours on them. Plastics show normal wear and tear from being on the quad for 3 years, frame has some powdercoat rubbed off, as well as on the clutch cover has some paint rubbed off. Overall an EXCELLENT quad for anyone looking to race, or just outrun their friends in the woods... I can't stress enough how much time/money have been invested in this, so do not insult me by lowballing. I do not have to sell, nor do I necessarilly want to, just checking my options.

Quad is in the shop getting a fresh shock service/respring as well as a valve job, new GBC Race Rex tires all around, Douglas Ultimate beadlocks, and a Scott's steering dampner. All bearings/bushings replaced, as well as a new seat cover.

I HAVE to sell this now, as it doesn't appear that I will be able to race in 2010. Taking a SEVERE loss on this one, $5,500 FIRM.

There's 5500 worth in just mods and services. Someone needs to scoops this up!

Actually I can provide the buyer with $4,000 of receipts from just the last month alone.

    Thanks.

Just put an order on 2 different graphic kits and a spare set of plastics, both will be included in the sale.

My custom designed Team GDMX blue/yellow/gray/carbon fiber Camo graphic kit (Only set in existence, won't see another set like it) on the stock black plastic

And the 2010 Team DeRisi Racing team kit on another set of stock black plastics.

For a small additional price can get matching personalized number plates for the new owner.
