if your gonna boost, go with an L/S, the b20 cylinder walls are super thin. I've personally seen them crack.. A LOT...

I have a b20b with an LS head on it in a EK all motor. And it pulls nicer than my b16 and my LS did. Also, my friend has a b20 w/ a LS head in an eg on boost and he's had that setup for a few months now with no problems. And that thing MOVES. just make sure you get a tune if you boost it. And the LS head makes a big difference as well.

a lot of people boost the b20, but if you're starting from scratch, you're better off with an L/s.

I had a B20 in a 96 hatch with boost with 0 problems. I don't know if the B20 head is worse than the Ls, I thought they were the same except some had Vtec size valves. By the way the B20 with the turbo setup is still going strong after 2 years or more.
