I am basically looking for a elite group or show worthy group of people that share the passion that i do for cars and go to shows to enjoy what owning a fast car is all about. A Car Club came to him. It appears that this gentleman is more interested in the perks that being in a true car club has (sponsor stuff), than how he can be a participating member of a car club.

In your above post, you treat yourself and your car as if it should atop some sort of pedestal. YOU are looking for a club that is worthy to have YOU. You are wanting clubs to come after you. Again, your car is nothing to fall in love with as you make it out to be in your "presentation."

YOU should be going into the club sections and looking around and seeing if you like anything. If you do, then YOU proceed on in that section and start chatting them up and see about meeting up with them at their meets. You don't set yourself up out there as if you're some number one draft pick and wait for everyone to come rushing to get you.

Especially when you're not number one draft pick worthy. Later, QD.

The negativity, i believe, stemmed from your arrogance....the whole, "u guys come to me and i will be the judge of your cars/character" killed your plea for eliteness...lol

Every club i was in (bout 10 yrs ago when it was actually a big deal) I was invited. They saw good character and a passion similar to theirs...

Like its been said before...you have a stock 300z with engine dress up/tune, wheels and better brakes...nothing new or "elite" about it. Make your hard pipes outta carbon fiber, BIG polished turbos, one off paint....then you will be knocking on elites door. Until then, learn to be humble. Make a name for yourself and let the clubs come to you, then decide. Don't act like they owe you some interview or something b/c you have fancy oil and your car goes "PsHHH" when you shift. It's their club and YOU want in...
