    Default 99 Pontiac Firebird fuel pump..

    Does the fuel tank have to dropped in order to replace the fuel pump? any shortcuts. its a v6 5spd if that matters..

    No you do not have to take it all the way down, you can just cock it just so you can get to the top and remove.. for some it may be easier for you to take it all the way down. I do these in about 15-20 mins
