    Default WTB: SOHC MOTOR

    I need a SOHC motor for my 1992 Civic CX.

    Let me know what you got. I want a non-vtec sohc longblock.

    Looking for one thats in good shape and useable. I need to throw it in and drive.

    Yo my buddy is selling a d16y8 with harness and mounts. Its currently in his 94 hatch. So you can here it run. Pulls hard. Its wired for OBD1 and everything.

    Think hes asking $550. has dc sport headers, a no name intake. Low miles

    Berta, posted in this thread, has a D15B7 with 120k miles for $350. The motor looks super clean.

    got a complete b18b.
    around 130*** miles when pull out.
    complete long block, intake mani, headers, harness wire, ecu perfect tranny, only missing is the distributor...lmk

    I really didn't want to spend more than $200 for a non-VTEC SOHC motor.

    Some people want $400 for a D15B7 and then I've got another dude offering a full SOHC VTEC swap for $750. I'd cop it if I was looking to spend more, but I'm just trying to keep my DD going for as cheap as possible.

    Sorry to sound like a cheap ass, but its hard to justify so much for a SOHC NON-VTEC when someone like SilverSol has got a complete LS swap for $1,000.

    That swap is gone bro. but with the new popularity of the d16z6 they are getting pricey. around 600$+ i might have another ls swap soon. but like i said the 160$-200$ price range you get what you pay for so it might be worth it to you to spend alittle extra.
