    Default Modded Xbox Questions

    Ok ive been seeing this a lot and just wanted to know is it safe? Can i still get on XBL? If its modded and I get red rings can i still send to xbox without them knowing its modded? etc etc.... Please let me know thanks

    [I]ve been wondering these same things, Im still rocking the classic 20g so Im just gonna mod that one and buy me an elite after this deployment. You can find the 20g ones for as little as $80 on ebayso its really no big deal if I mod mine and realize I made a mistake or it breaks down the road. Ive heard mixed things about getting on XBL though, I guess it depends on how its modded.

    I guess your right dude. Ive heard things such as being banned from XBL... Ive been on xbl since day 1 lol back in 03. I just want it to be pretty legit cus those guys get new games and save a ton of money lol

    Im gonna go for it, we have $3 games here so even if they ban me from XBL it will be worth it. Im sure that their are ways around the ban too like getting a new xbox, new SN or in my case when I come back I will have a different IP address.

    You go to the markets for your games? Ur in iraq right? If your in baghdad you should be able to get most games before they come out

    You can get banned from xbl, mostly this happens for playing games while connected to live before they are released. So if you play games two weeks before they come out id make a second account for offline use. But once games are out you can play online no problem. There are multiple types of bans xbox has done, they ban your account, your hdd, or your disc drive. If your disc drive is banned a new one needs to be installed.But lately just account bans have been happening.

    What do you mean. If you looked at a moded xbox you would never know its moded unless someone told you, everything is the same except the dvd drive can read dvd+r dl discs

    here we get them on burned discs, and we can get them a couple weeks before they come out.
