    Default WTB that boat anchor sitting in your garage AKA bad B-series transmissions

    I've got some cash at the moment and I'm looking to put together a few Honda/Acura B-series transmissions. I'm looking for cheap parts - grinding, cracked case, bad bearings, whatever.

    1. What is it? Code on case and what gears are in it (ex. Y80 with GSR gears or S4C with B16 gears)

    2. What's wrong with it?

    3. How much you want for it?

    Like for what year and gears? I've got some used synchros from a S1 and YS1 that I used the 5th gears out of, but some of them are bad.

    hey i have all of the guts to a USDM type r tranny besides the diff. pm me if you are interested. everything is fine with it just the case was screwed and just swapped the tranny in my car.

    not sure. i was told gsr. but i could be ls. $100 bucks. i can bring it to IFO this sunday if you want it.

    Just noticed your location and where IFO is... Montgomery is still 3 hours from my place (6hrs round trip). I'm not planning on doing that much driving this weekend. Definitely wouldn't drive 6 hrs if it was a LS. If it's a USDM tranny, it should have a VIN on it which will tell what it's out of. Maybe another time if I'm headed that direction or you are a little closer this way.

    Damn that post shot me down huh, lol gud luck. Sense You worked with me on those rotors hit me up an let me know what u wanna do if u want this tranny. every thing in it has been rebuilt, the parts that are broke are what I posted up. I'll work something out with u cuz u showed me love on the rotors. LMK

    Yeah, bump this... Josh and I need some transmissions for parts...

    specifically:

    -Hydro B16 1st-4th
    -Cable 90-91 LS 5th
    -Hydro LS 5th
    -Hydro GSR 4th
    -Hydro ITR anything
    and might be interested in other stuff as well... post them up, clean out your garage, and make some money for Christmas!

    I just did the tranny swap sat night. I got my old ls tranny. its got ah bad bearing an ah small leak where the drain plug is. i'll take $100An its yours. ez fix, but im good on i. lmk you still got my #? If not 6785202857

    Well, since I just mostly want 5th out of an LS and that one needed synchros, it wasn't really worth driving all the way across town. If yours has good synchros, it might be worth picking up to fix. I'll probably have some extra case parts and bearings left over from some of of the ones that I'm putting together. I'll give you a call Thursday and see if we can work something out (trying to finish up finals in school the next couple of days).
