    Default Photoshoot Nov. 22nd 2009 (Top Notch Req'd)

    So I posted in the WL about a potential "required" meet date. I say we organize a day, doesn't matter which, that we can all be available. Tell our respective others either come to it or I'm gonna be unavailable this day. Obviously a weekend is better for most because it's a weekend and we have the daytime to take great shots. Somewhat like the day we had that huge meet in the loading docks in Buford. That shit was fun.

    I won't have use of the good camera I had because I am putting my two weeks notice in on Monday. I got that new job in Buford which means you'll be seeing a little more of my ass because I'll be down that way after work anyhow. w00t!

    NOVEMBER 22nd, 2009!!!

    I'll propose the first date being that I started this and we can decide from there as a jumpoff point.

    2 weeks from now is 11.24.09.

    Can I get a show of hands who'd be ok with that? (also, keep in mind, until C.Smock or Sumixali ask everyone to be required to show, it's just me asking you all for a photo meet)

    If anyone has a decent camera, I'd suggest bringing it because, as I mentioned earlier, I will no longer have use of my current job's SLR digital camera.

    OK well Sunday is good with Casey IIRC as well so Sunday seem to be it. I go to church but that's out by noon with plenty o' sunlight left to shoot.

    Edit: Changed the OP with a date. I'll post it here.

    So far I am thinking 11-1-09. I have stuff I might be doing on the 25th, the weekend of the 18th is already busy for most people (Import Alliance or something is going on) The way I figure, 11-1-09 is far enough out to give people time to make solid plans.

    Anyone else have any arguments?

    Ok well as said...it's not required until one of the founding fathers put their stamp of approval on it.

    For now, I am requesting a Top Notch Photoshoot to be on Nov. 1st, 2009. Now we argue the time. Like I said, I have church until just around noon so any time past lunch is fine with me. I'd like to get daytime and nighttime shots so I'd prefer to spend the afternoon into the night for shots.

    Anyone know of good spots, keep them in mind for a meeting spot. Also, anyone with a camera (decent or not) bring it. The more the better.

    What are you in Import? Cause we could meet in, say, Buford, around 3...

    I am thinking we hit up the Buford Dam. Perhaps the industrial area we went to way back when (the first unofficial Top Notch group shot). Maybe then a busy area like the MoG. Find an open area of parking lot and fill that bish up. Then we have all three types of good pics.

    Anyone else have any good spots, LMK. Maybe some rolling shots...

    As far as locale... I'm not sure. I don't know what's best for everyone. Obviously you being S. Atl it's gonna be tricky. Anywhere that good pics can be taken. I hear that parking garage near the GT campus is good and safe.

    Seriously though, I was originally thinking Buford Dam, Industrial building in Buford, and the MoG parking lot. Then I got to thinking about the joke I just made. Some pics of ATL in the backdrop might be hot if we could find a seriously good spot.

    It'll more than likely be Buford or a little south. I would like to get a nice variety of pics but definitely want to get one of everyone. So, if you're reading this and haven't posted any opinions, let me know if you think you're gonna come. There's a few guys in Top Notch that I don't believe are on here (like the dude with the Si) and I'm not sure I know them well enough.

    So guys....

    My schedule got fucked with, tuesday and wednesday are my new nights off however i havs saturday and sunday days off.


    11/1/09- is the photoshoot, if you are a topnotch member put this high on your priority list.

    If you are not a member- lights out, lovin my dodge, etc... you are more than welcome to come chill with the group and take a few pics, however this is going to be a TOPNOTCH photoshoot, so majority of the pics will be TN members only.

    On a side note, there have been a few members added this weekend who need to post up in here that i have known for a while but other than that i will not be adding any newmembers until i have some more chill time with "recruits".....also DBLOCK and myself will be commingup with a requirement /mod list for this club, i am not liking the direction it seems as though we might take, not pointing any fingers or calling anyone out.I apoligize for my limited participation lately, i am still here and knowladgeable of what goes one in this club,but priorities come first. I give Dale anjd Jared a bunch of shit about flaking but i have a full understanding of where they are comming from. Its all in fun and games. Sorry for the tanget mr spicey> end thread jack

    Well Siean your sig says it all dude, under construction. I wouldn't worry too much about it.

    As much as I dispise going all the way to Atlanta, if someone knows a nice, good, SAFE area to snap pics, I am all for it. IKEA has a nice parking deck but not sure how packed it'll be. Some city shots would be sick. We have plenty of warehouse-ish places around here (Satellite Blvd. is full of em). I was also thinking about maybe using the Gwinnett Arena as a backdrop. I just left the Gladiators game and was thinking how cool it might be to use it. That or Discover Mills Mall.

    Still waiting on a place. I've been asking for suggestions. So far, here's what I suggested and not much arguements:

    Buford (Dam, MoG, Industrial area). Good variety.
    Atlanta (safe area preferred) Get some skyline shots if anyone knows a good parking deck like IKEA's.

    Anyone? I was trying to keep it pretty central to everyone.

    Then Erika needs to know if she should show as she has quite a drive. I vote yes as we're not really refusing anyone but she has questions about TN membership that I cannot answer.

    Well about 12-2, I have church as does ImportKid I believe. So the earliest I can be there is like 1, whereas ImportKid said he can't until after 2 I believe.
