    Wow this is crazy...dude sounds almost exactly like Steve Perry. Here is a comparison between the two, and the last 3 minutes of the video, is what got him the spot! Understand that the last 3 minutes is kinda like a talent show where this guy is from(philippines)!

    my dad said the people from the philippines are very good at mimicking singers and that's why he sounds just like steve perry. he once went to a bar in the philippines when he was in the air force and he said there was a cover band singing nothing but hank williams songs and he bought them a round of beer and they played that all night. sounded just like him too he said.
