    Default 3t-c

    Gotta love it

    Rotor button- $3
    Dist. Cap- $8
    Spark plug wires- $25
    Plugs NGK- $2
    Fuel filter- $5

I've spent more than that on just replacement spark plug wires for cars before

I just loaded up the Prelude so I don't have to do it tomorrow.

Even so, those parts are cheap, maybe I should get one as a beater.

    thats a 1.8 ltr right?

I think that motor was also used in the Hilux back then. Very versatile.

Mine really dosn't leave the garage. People across the street think it is a tool bench.

yes , and im not sure the 3tc was used in the hilux the only 1.8 i can think might have been is the 18r-c . the 3t-c is a 1.8L OHV (yes pushrod motor) that is also a hemi. Which is why it lend itself to modifications so well. The one in my wagon has a mild cam dome top pistons headers 32/36 weber 2bbl. THey are fun and take a beating like most of toyotas stuff.

Tryin to shit on corollas? That's like a hi powered fan it will blow back on you lol. Paid 550 for my DD in 2004 and it didnt fail me til this year. Rearwheel bearing went. Then clutch went but that's my fault cause i was hauling cars with it! The hatch with 3tc swap is diff story it was ghetto rigged when i got it, replaced trans, driveshaft and rear b4 i drove it anywhere. There was shoestring and clothes wire hangers holding stuff together, wrong nuts and bolts, exhaust cracked from being in contact with steering column. There were 15-20 Mountain Dew cans and bottles in there. Took awhile to clean car looked like a unkempt garage/kids bedroom. Stuff was everywhere.

i love my wagon, its only left me on side of the road twice. the first time the starter went out of course, the second time was a clogged fuel filter.
