    Default crx swapp

whats the easiest SIMPLE way to do a swap in a crx. I know im going to get flamed for asking but i know nothing about the B18/B16 etc... I want to know what all i need to do to complete the full swap.
    which one of each.
    ECU?
    ENgine?
    trans?

are there any that bolt right in and plug right bup with no modifcations?(thats about what i want)

ANY B series motors takes AT LEAST:
    Engine Mounts (HASPORT, AVID, HCP,ETC)=$300-350
    SHIFT LINKAGE-$100
    Swaps run $500-1000 for a LS motor $1200+ for a B16, $2500+ for a GSR

EFs use CABLE transmissions, so make sure thats what your getting. TYPICALLY, it takes $2000 to do a B16 swap, if you do the labor yourself. thats the easiest, cheapest, simplest, fastest swap for the money.

ok check it out, If i go to a car auction and see a old school integra B16 engine with decent miles, Will i be able to just throw it in my crx? What is involved is what im asking. Not really the price involved.

do i need motor mounts? Run a new harness? New ecu? TAch?
What would i need to pull from the car before i junk it?

    I just answered your question:

YOU MUST wire VTEC for any VTEC ENGINE
YOU MUST use AFTERMARKET MOTOR mounts for any B series motor
YOU MUST use B series axles and shift linkage for any B series motor
YOU MUST use B series motor, dizzy, ECU, tranny, axles, shiftlinkage

There are NO "old skool" integras that came with a B16. NO CARS came with a 1st gen B16 engine that comes with a cable transmission in the United States. they only came in Japan. the only OLD skool integras you could get motors from are
90-93 Acura Integra, they came with B18A motors (LS NON VTEC)

B16s can only be found from JDM IMPORTERS, if you find one at a junkyard, its cause it was swapped already.

Search on Honda-Tech.com and youll find the answers to many of your questions.

find a 1st gen, dohc zc and your done,it even bolts to the sohc tranny, thats about 600 bucks for a swap.doesn't get much cheaper than that.allthough i would recomend a b-series motor if you can afford it.
