Default FS: Briggs and Stratton Shifter Kart

NEW PRICE: $800! PLEASE COME GET IT TODAY!!!

For sale.. Briggs and Stratton Shifter Cart (Like a go kart, but better)

Ok well, we bought this like a couple weeks ago, and decided we are running out of room in our garage and have no time to play with it. (Chris buys too many toys).

The motor is a 5hp motor that is now fully built with 14 horsepower. Bored 20 over, 273 lift cams, steel sleaved, billet rod, and only runs off methanol.

These things stock retail for like 2k or more. If you look on ebay. They are selling the chassis with no motor for almost 1000. And anyone that comes with a motor is usually around 2k. And that's a stock motor.

This one like I said has a fully built motor, and you can change out the body on it if you want something different then whats on it. They are pretty cheap.

The only thing it needs is a pull start, spark plug, and methanol. If you go to any go kart track they sell methanol there. But I'm not sure where else in particular.

But were selling the fully built motor, chassis and everything for $1000 OBO. And trust me you won't find one that cheap with all this done to it anywhere.

The top speed is around 60 I think. Although I've heard they can go higher.

But still for a go kart, 60 is plenty lol

It comes with 5 extra tires and a neck brace thing to wear when your driving it.

Come get it asap! We need more garage space!

Uhh, it's not a shifter kart...

It's just a regular Briggs powered kart. I will give you $450, that's how much they go for in this condition. (Unless it's offset, is it?)

No it's tires, the dumbass who had it before us put one rear tire on the rear and one front tire on the rear, so one side of the thing has front tires and one side has rear tires lol Just gotta switch the tires and you'll be good to go

Are you sure? Why wouldn't you want the same width tires on the rear? Or are you just being a smartass lol

Like I said I don't know shit about go karts so don't hate! :]

I just figured the smaller tires were for the front and wider ones for the rear, why would they be purposely how they are?

If it was setup for oval / circle track racing a staggered setup hooks better in the corners.

This is a standard kart. Like SIMON said these go for about $500 in this condition depending on extras. Good luck with the sale.

Yeah that's what I was getting at trying to figure out if it's a dirt/oval setup or not.

Depends on what they are and condition. I'm really not looking for any type of trade because I've already got to much stuff, and to many cars. But if it's a good trade then maybe. Send me pm with pics and specs please

Just sold one of these two weeks ago for $450 with a fresh motor, and 5 gallons of methanol. GLWS.

Ok Im goin to help brant out here. This cart is badass it has a built motor it is set up for dirt or oval track use. The motor is offset. This thing is in great shape just needs a few odds and ins buttoned up. Worth every bit of 800 bux. Would be a great starter cart or race cart.
