    Default Spark PLug strip?

I have a 1995 Acura Integra LS. Swapped the motor into another LS motor. taking out the spark plug, and found out that one of them is stripped. Well, the hole where the spark plug goes to is stripped. Found out that they had put some kinda of ring that went around the spark plug to make it fit the hole. But for some reason, it wont tight back up anymore. it'll tight by hand, but not all the way. we tighten it by hand, cranked up the motor, and wat you knoe. It shot right out. (kinda dangerous). any suggestions?

i wouldnt even go thru all this. for the price of a heli coil set u can find a head with less issues and swap them out. u might have some time invested in the swap but its worth not fucking your self over even more.

if i was suppose to go Ls/v. i should best get a SI head right? but the thing is, i dont want to do all the Vtec wiring. cause my car is a LS, so i got to do all the wiring for the Vtec. is it possible to get a Si head, put it on there, but no Vtec?
