    Default Head Unit in Glove Box

    All the cars in my yard were broken into this weekend and My system was stolen out of my car...SH** SUCKS!!!! but i was thinking of puttin the new head unit in my glove box of my 2000 nissan sentra....any help or thoughts on that would be great

    Yes, buy a good alarm system...they are cheap. As soon as an alarm goes off, the people will take off. I had my Accord broken into 3 times at work and every single time as soon as the alarm sounded...they were gone.

    First Time: Tried to use a key from another Accord, took them some time, but got my door open and the alarm sounded.

    Second Time: Tried to shatter my window with a rock. They missed and hit my door. My alarm went off.

    Third Time: Shattered my window, but the tint held up all the glass. Alarm went off.

    Yeah get a nice alarm, but moving your headunit to the glovebox is just a matter of extending the harness and possibly the antenna...no big deal, not very hard at all.

    It shouldnt take more than maybe 30 extra minutes to do it.

    If you need a Antenna extension adaptor...I have a 10ft one for free.

    or depending on what type of car you have you can just mount the deck further back in the din space and take off the factory radio face and place it over the aftermarket radio when u get out of ur car.
