    Default 10 Most happiest country in the world... Where is the USA?

    We have it all so easy compare to other countries.... Yet, we are not a happy coutry..

    Now, Not all of us have it all, but have the ability to better ourselves more then any other country in the world..

    I heard, that " Money doesnt buy happiness , But it rents the shit out of it " (ruiner)

    So,, is that quote even true ? Of course Not all of us are rich... But opportunities are there.....

    The us was ranked #1xx something..

    9 of the top 10 were all in Latin American except, 10 was Vietnam..

    Im sure the living condition is those countries cannot compare to the USA or other powerful countries..

    I guess, the stress of work, bills, school.. and worrying about the benjamins is killing people..

    No where to go but down when your at the top. A lot of other countries and cultures seem to be more family oriented and happier with their simplicity. I'm not sad and wouldn't want to wake up in any other country but this one. 0.02

    I love this country... There is everything you need... I would think, This should be one of the top countries for everything.. I guess not..

    I was glad Dominican Republic was ranked #2 though =]

    Talk about "almost" worry free... I love that place...

    But you are right, Latin countries are def more family oriented.. and much more friendlier as well.

    --> Dubai
    --> Sicily
    --> England (if it wasn't so rainy)

    Money doesn't buy/rent/sublease happiness at all. Don't confuse possessions and entertainment with happiness.

    So you're saying if someone rented you a Ferrari or a Lamborghini for a day you wouldn't be happy grinning ear to ear for 24 hours? Ruiner says it "rents" you happiness, not buys you permanent happiness. Someone buying you a Ferrari isn't necessarily going to make you happy: between insurance payments, mechanical upkeep, and trying to live up being someone you're not...at the end of the day you won't be happy.

    If you're behind or in a hole and need help someone giving you money is temporary happiness, it's a relief. If someone just gives you money for the hell of it then it's unlikely it will be put to something that will better yourself.

    The divorce rate for those who win a lottery is ridiculously high. Winning the lottery will give you temporary happiness (it rents it, temporarily) but if you're not happy with yourself and where you are at in life anyways then most likely it will be the death of you.

    The US is also the 2nd most stressful industrialized country, only behind England. Yes, we have everything your heart could desire here in the US, but you still have to work for it. Even if you work hard all day every day, you still may not get everything you wanted.

    I'd pick Australia over America. Brazil would be behind that.

    ....dubai is not a country. just thought id point that out. however, its nice and opportunities aplenty to make $$$ but its hot as BALLS and a little strict out there. especially during Ramadan.

    ... and fuck england. its alright, but its just alright. not somewhere id want to live FOREVER.

    I agree, I love living in the Land of the Free. It does baffle my mind that the US isn't considered one of the top 10 happiest countries, since I am happy living hear and believe we have a great society.

    I think that the people who are suprised that we aren't number one haven't lived in other countries. Tech girl, what do you do for work (if you don't mind me asking).

    Well too bad, I'm sending your ass to North Korea. Where you will serve as Kim Jong's foot taster. They don't have the modern day equipment to test for athlete's foot like we do here in the US.

    As said earlier, it can certainly rent happiness but providing true happyness all the time comes from other sources. This does depend on the person as though....

    Glad I learned this principle at an early age. I'm fine living in the USA

    Looking at some replies in here, seems like a lot of people "happiness" lies in the superficial.

    To each his own, certainly not knockin anyone.
