Sunshine. Pretty spectacular, under-appreciated sci-fi from Danny Boyle (Slumdog, 28 Days Later, Trainspotting). But I'd recommend buying.

I tried watching it once late at night and couldn't take it. I'll give it another chance, but I have to be in the right state of mind to watch movies about people destroying themselves (ie Requiem), and that mood comes maybe once every couple years.

In regards to Sunshine, I forgot to mention but watching it on anything less than 42" won't do it justice.

Okay I've got Sunshine now. I've already seen the Hangover. Gummo looks a bit beyond my tastes for movies. lol

I agree that the 3rd act was a little weak. But I was just overcome by the beauty of the movie. The special effects were incredible without being overbearing or distracting. And the soundtrack just worked perfectly. Not a perfect movie by any means, but it had some scenes that stuck with me for quite some time (particularly a few of the unselfish deaths). Just my .02

    Back on topic...

I second Lock, Stock, and Two Smoking Barrels. Along extremely similar lines, Snatch (if you haven't yet), and I've heard decent things about Rocknrolla. All of which are Guy Ritchie movies.

A couple others to chew on:

    Dark City
Rules of Attraction (no, it's not a romantic comedy)

(I'm really just trying to think of kind of odd movies that I enjoyed)

Yeah, I haven't seen Lock, Stock but one time, and I can't really remember if there are any crossover characters with Snatch, but if nothing else they have a remarkably similar style and the same basic setting as Snatch. I've always thought of them as in the same series.

A lot of people are suggesting Guy Ritchie stuff so you might as well find:

    Revolver
    RocknRolla
Layer Cake (Not directed by Guy Ritchie but still the same genre, has Daniel Craig in it)

    Gran Torino
    Mystic River
A Guide to Recognize Your Saints
    Chaos
    Equilibrium
    Felon
    Insomnia
    Killshot

    are just some.

The International isn't bad either, if you haven't seen it.

And yes, I Love You Man was great. It was already good, but then I nutted myself when I found out Rush was in it.
