Well, over the last few months, I've been going back over my previous work and sorting out any issues and putting interior back in the car, in addition to redoing the entire braking system on the car, and renewing the 18 year old suspension pieces with polyurethane bushings.
After having discovered one of my front Nismo wheels was damaged beyond repair (thanks to a previous owner, private sale over the internet) I decided to track down another set, and ended up getting a full set of 18" Nismo LMGT-2's. Only downside is that they had been powdercoated black, so they had to be stripped (thanks Chris!). After that, I felt that polishing them would be pretty cool, and I will now refuse to polish anything ever again after completing this task. Here's some pics from over the last few months:
SPL Parts rear upper control arms
Hard at work...
All finished, ready to be mounted...
Fresh tires...255/40/17 fronts, 275/35/18 rears...
Went out and took some pics after the fender rolling (thanks to Ryan @ CCR) and alignment... Fronts are 17x9, rears are 18x9.
Oh yeah, and big brakes...AP Racing kit for Stillen....2 piece aluminum 4 piston calipers, 13" rotors. I've got a set of 2 piece rotors, but they are set aside for track use. I've got 300ZX rears out back.
Valvestem barely clears the caliper...I can't put the cap on it, haha.
