    Default Adware/trojan etc..

    So i have had my spare pc in my room for almost a year! workign perfectly.. my nephew visits. i get wireless, and i hook it up so he can play games online and shit... he got something on my shit. And i need someone to recommend a good anti-adware/virus protection software. I cant even get to add/remove programs system restore or anything...

    I use the free version of Malwarebytes Anti-Malware and it works really well in removing malware. Unfortunately, I don't know if you would be able to install anything if your computer is already crippled. Also AVG or Avast are good free anitvirus programs.

    As raptor suggested use MBAM. Boot into safe mode to load it, then run a full scan. Hope this helps.
