    Default 98 240sx s14 sr20det black LOOK!!!!!!!

    9/12/09 update

    passed emission till next year
tax paid till next year, i got the title under my name
bought a pass headlight to fix the broken one
bought rear bumper valance... its white though
planing to get the power steering fixed....just need to go pick up the sr20det pump
disconnected the neo because it was causing it to act weird. i still drive it everyday though

went to tiger racing about a month ago for a potential buyer... and they said i had "piston slap"... i still dont know what that is, but i just wanted to let everyone know. how do i check if i have "piston slap"? i been driving the car everyday... and krappy killed it a couple times... that bastard... but car still drives fine...

also found out i had a oil catch can.... lol

    price dropped 8900 to 7900!!!!!

ok, so i was deciding to buy a rsx type s or a sr20det kouki... bought this car. i thought i would be fine without the p/s and no a/c, but i was wrong. i need ps and ac, lol.... dont really know much about turbos anyway... heres the info on the car.drove about 4 hrs to pick up the car, and drove 4 hrs back with no problem at all. no overheating or anything. previous owner was a toyota tech, and the owner before him was his friend, a nissian tech. the turbo gauge and controller is not connect because he wanted the low stock boost.... but its on the car.

this is the info from the previous owner

    Black 1998 Nisszan 240SX with a S14 SR20DET swap.
Brian Crower cams, valvesprings, and retainers. (have stock cams also in a box)
Cometic head gasket and ARP head studs.
Megan Racing coilovers, O2 sensor housing,
    downpipe and testpipe.
HKS 85mm Hi-Power catback exhaust and SSQ blow-off valve.
    Greddy front-mount intercooler,
    5Zigen FN01R-C 17X9(f) and 17X10(r).
    APEXi SAFC NEO disconnected it
    HID
    turbo timer not installed
    oil catch can
    greedy boost controller not installed

not sure what clutch is on there, but stiffer than oem

title is clean, just didnt transfer it to my name yet, still deciding to keep it or not. EDIT GOT IT UNDER MY NAME

    the bad:
body is really clean..... the only thing is the pass headlightedit bought a pass headlight and put it on and the front bumper.... im thinking the headlight should cost 200 bucks and a front bumper should cost 140. so about 340 plus paint, pics of the car is dirty, just fix these 2 small things and a good wash, car should look sharp!!!

tires are in very good condition...rubs sometimes but rolling should stop it

makes noise from the driver side suspension when turning..... but i heard these suspension is known to make noise, or maybe because the tire is too wide???

runs rich, (better than running lean!) i still get about 22 city, would probably be 25 hwy. just needs a a good tuning. people tells me i dont need a tune..... i dont know???

found out i have an exhaust leak

    price:7900 !!!!
trade: i want a type s 02-04 white or black. or a stock kouki with ac and ps! but please dont expect that i will trade my car for your stock kouki straight up.... im sure there is over 7000 worth of stuff put into this car....
