Explosions in Buckhead last night?

Did anyone hear them? It was around 3 am. I was in the middle of Bobby Jones golf course laying on a big blanket drinking beers with some friends and then BOOM... big flash in the sky followed by a loud thundering noise. It looked as if it were towards the Lenox mall area. Then 2 more followed a few minutes later and all the power went out.

It was pretty trippy. We were scaring the girls that were with us, talking about the boogy man living on the golf course and then all of the sudden these explosions happen.

Anyone hear anything about it? We assumed, at first, that a transistor blew up. But the explosion was SO loud and bright, followed by 2 more that we dismissed that theory. 10 minutes later Buckhead was full of sirens from firetrucks coming from all directions.
