    odometer- have to look
terra cotta car, premier mk2 edition, rare interior/exterior color combo
inside needs- driver door panel, drivers seat has a minor rip in the lumbar, the 8 way adjustablle lumbar still works.
exterior- a little body work on the hatch there is minor rust, and the driver side back window bottom molding.
new parts- fuel pump, fuel filter, stator pickup, re adjusted the air gap in the dizzy, new cap, button, plugs, wires, water pump, new sylvania silverstar headlight housings and bulbs, fixed some wiring problems with the tail lights. no quarter panel rust (hard to find) 373 rear end w/ great LSD. everything works, factory radio, equalizer, sunroof, power windows, power locks, dome light still works even! 5 speed car. sleepy eyes will reset when power is put back to the battery. i tested the MAF and ignition coil, both read proper on the voltmeter.
things it needs- carrier bearing $132 or so from advanced auto. rack and pinion is a bit loose, there is a leaky coolant line(nothing but 5/8 or so hose from a auto parts store will take care of it) new woodruff key, crank pulley, and blower motor.
the car will run but wont stay running because of it jumping crank timing. i believe the woodruff key was sheared off due to older toyotas not having balanced crank pulleys. ( another toyota curse like the plauged 1zz motors with the failing piston rings and horrible cylinder blow by around 60-70,000 miles.) car ran strong for the week i had it, i know it sat in a junkyard for 9 years, so.... for it being cranked up in 9 years, it fired right up, with the help of a new battery, and distributor accessories, and some coolant.
i dissasembled some of it like the front end , i was going to take the front end off but never did, every bolt is bagged up and labeled, and the car isnt difficult to put back together i only took off a few things, and still have all the parts. i even have the hayes manual i will throw in for the car too. its a project i had great intentions for, but just dont have the money/time to do it. if you dont like the 5mge which is the stock motor, you can always throw in a 6mge which is a direct bolt in, or a 7mgte (mk3 turbo motor.) shawn on celicasupra.com makes plug and play wiring harness's for this. i believe his user name is "junkie" and he is a vendor on there. please take her off my hands so i can get her out my driveway, and give her a good home! i will post miles up tomorrow. thanks, chris.
car is located in augusta GA you will need to tow the car. feel free to reach me on my cell anytime at 706-955-5969 (verizon)
