    Thumbs up Gran Torino....WOW

The movie...is just remarkable. I loved almost every second of it. Clint Eastwood did an outstanding job!! Probably going as far as this is the best he's done. The young boy Tao (sp) was not very good at acting but it was alright b/c his character is a big baby in the movie. His sister Sue is hilarious and pretty bad ass.

If you haven't seen it, it's a racist movie. BUT it shows you no matter how racist you are or how much you think another race is different, there will always be similarities. If you aren't too defensive you will find the movie to be hilarious. The ending is dramatic and very well unexpected.

This is definitely a movie to purchase and watch time and time again.

Ill agree that the movie is fantastic and the ending was completely unexpected. Worth seeing multiple times. When i saw that clint eastwood was also the director i figured it would be a good movie.

This movie was a good movie, and I really enjoyed it, but outside of Clint Eastwood, the acting was TERRIBLE. After watching it the second time, I really notice just how bad the acting was. Still a good watch, and I would rate it a 7 out of 10.

The girl Sue did a decent job. Sorta attractive too, most her personality that was attractive.

"we're hill people, not jungle people...EW BOOGA BOOGA BOOGA!"

I know most the slang terms for Asian folk. never use them though. I loved how he could call them names to their face but was nice about it. "Dragon Lady" was a hilarious one also.

yea it is a great movie, i think just about every movie Clint Eastwood has directed has been awesome, not to mention nominated for tons of awards. Clint Eastwood is also one of the only guys i know that can be almost 80 years old, and you would never fuck with him.

One of the best movies I have seen in a very long time.

The best part was when he spit the tobacco on the porch, then the old lady hocks a lugie the size of texas.

Now that you all have seen it, you know who Hmong people are now! Not every asian you see are chinese/korean! I don't know how but I can sense/determine if an asian is hmong or not. Certain feature or habit we have in cars and looks.. If you have hmong friends, you are on my cool list man. The hmong people are not portrayed as good actors in the american/hmong movie but in our movie production side, they are pretty popular. If they weren't, they wouldn't of had got the parts for the movie. Gran Torino was a good movie but it differs from every persons aspect to determine if YOU thought it was a good movie. I know some people will say it was boring but I'm guessing they don't understand the effort and the meaning the movie was meant to portray. Thanks Clint for understanding us Hmong Folks! Oh, and don't call us asians FIsh heads or Gooks! :p

My last 3 g/f's were asian. People who don't hang with azn folk think that all asians or Japanese or Chinese. I've met a couple Hmong people. One of them I met was HILARIOUS! The Hmong I have met have been very nice and not really as close minded as others

This movie was fantastic. I laughed just about through the entire movie and the ending was great. As far as the Hmong people I used to work witha guy that was Hmong and he was probably one of the nicest and most respectful people I have ever come across in the past 10 yrs. In fact even though I dont work with him anymore he still makes it a point to come and say hi if he ever see's me out.
