The most economical thing to do is get our upgrade kit that includes our 12lb one piece forged steel flywheel. The upgrade kit has a larger diameter pressure plate that will allow for more holding capacity in the long run. The part number is 8009-2-2100. List price is usually $450 but with the IA discount you're looking at $405 shipped with a tshirt. That includes the flywheel, pressure plate, clutch disc, alignment tool, release bearing, and pilot bearing.

One last thing is to be sure that you have the 1988 transmission. A lot of times the tranny will get swapped and for whatever reason Honda decided to make the 1988, 1989, and 1990-1991 trannys all different. Go figure. If you're not certain, we would just need to know the spline count on the input shaft in order to get you the right stuff.

We have everything in stock so whenever you're ready, just give us a call! 800-809-6598
