Good topic. Thanks for starting this thread, Ant. I think that Old Faithful will never cease due to the fact that there is plenty of liquid sources beneath the Earth's surface to keep her going. If and when the water resources run out, there is a chance that it could become a natural oil geyser. Black gold. Texas tea. Then we have the benefits of a NOT having to drill in protected areas yet having the oil that we could use from a protected ground. If magma could seep through as well, we could possible have another tar pit. Then let those park rangers go over take a whiz on that. But if all that were not be fruitful, it could turn out to be an opening, gateway if you will, from Hell for the evil spirits to return to Earth to help Satan in his war to win over the do-gooders and turn man against his brother. This event would be catastrophic to the future of mankind because as was foretold by the film "I Am Legend," Will Smith would be the only survivor and, as he does have a beautiful wife, I don't think man would like to come back to a world where his first "music to his ears" would be Parents Just Don't Understand. So let's just hope that the famous landmark geyser doesn't run out anytime too soon. Later, QD.
