I was driving through Wrigleyville yesterday, the morning after a big Cubs win, and I got to see this! Not only was the Vet "parked" the wrong way it was completely totaled! Crazy shame!

I have no clue what happened, however I dont think it was a hit and run as the Vet was "parked" on the wrong side of the street. Meaning it was facing the opposite direction of traffic. I think it was dumped there by either the owner or someone who stole it, either of them could have been drunk. I now see in the pic that the area has been cleaned up some, so I dont know whats up with that.

Could be one of those "speed discouragers". GSP used to put totaled cars on the side of the road or at 4 way stops and have a sign talking about "Don't speed, this could be you" type of thing.

NOTE: I took this picture DIRECTLY across from the Cubs baseball stadium. I was driving in the car and was at the 4 way stop, that was the only way I was able to get these pics.

I dont know what the sticker said on the window, my guess would be a "you move it or we tow it" kinda thing.

thats why t thought "hit and run" because its parked on the wrong side of the road and a on coming truck hit it. but i can see why it would not be a "hit and run" because the car/truck would have been hauling ass to do that kind of damage.
