    Well I know its damaged and what not, but it seemed like he meant the owner got rid of it for a 635i, which is not the case.

    he wrecked the car, repaired some of the damage and then rusted out the whole thing. he was at southern worthasee last weekend. the 18" rs' shit on that car

    my buddy ralph made a thread on bf.c saying the same thing, "anybody can make a pile of shit look good with the right lighting and photography."

    i kinda like it, but the attitude i picked up while reading the 200page thread about the stance, idk, kind of arrogant (stance primo?).
    the cars are stanced for real, but it doesnt seem like a road going height. who wants to spray sparks over a crack in the road?
    all i see is dub styling on bimmers.

    Yeah, my truck is rusty as shit, but it's also 60+ years old. I can't stand seeing later model cars attempting to pull off the "rat rod" look. Real rat rods are just built using what most other builders would throw away... they don't always have to be rusty. That body shell at the swap meet might actually have decent paint on it , and I'm not gonna pass up a good shell just because it's got some shine. When your rat rod finally rolls out of the garage, maybe its shiny, maybe rusty.......but atleast its built. Now thats a RAT. Taking your modern, otherwise STOCK car, and rusting it out doesn't make it a fucking rat rod... nor does it make it cool.

    I like it.

    When I was in Phoenix I saw a LOT of the outside art places do this (rusted metal). It's prob not practical for an everyday car but def prob looks better in pics than w/ the naked eye.

    1 wrong Bo-Duke hoodslide and you'd need a new ass.
