    Default Help now... PLEASE...

Ok.. Car blew up a week ago. Got it towed home. Seeing what happened and find out the fuel pump went out. So we thought. Changed the main relay. Check all connection. Nothing. So, we straight wired the fuel pump and now it cuts on when key is turned to acc.. But, when a fuel pump NORMALLY kicks on, it hums then clicks. With mine straight wired, it doesn't stop humming. I put the new motor in got everything hooked up correctly. I've got fire, compression, and gas. Well, kinda gas. I get fuel all the way to the injectors but it's not going into the motor. Now remember, the injectors worked perfect a week ago, when my motor blew. That could be the problem. I don't know. With the fuel pump humming constantly, it has full pressure all the time. Could it be putting to much fuel in the rail??... I don't know... SOmeone help me... PLEASE.....

Make sure your ground is connected at the Thermostat Housing. I've seen it time and time again people over look that and never got the FP to come on.

Go back to the Fuel Pump problem... If you turn the key on and you have no power to the pump WHY?..
Also just cause the pump makes a sound don't mean it's good, Check fuel pressure since you have a hot wire on the pump...

tried new ECU... checked what you're talking about 1civic. All B20's are OBD2..

Purged the fuel line. I'm getting fuel to the rail. you can hear it running through. Again. I checked the line. It's making it all the way to the fuel rail. Gone through 2 different main relays. 2 different ecus. All ground are connected.

Tomorrow, I'm gonna change the fuel pump again. Change the injectors, the main relay again, and maybe even go as far as changing the fuel rail.

Wait.. Another thing I seen is the key switch go bad causeing the main relay to not come on, which explains why you have no switch on key power and that pump also it will not allow the injectors to pluse..

Here is a flow chart.. Follow it to a tee!!

The pump comes on from this relay, you shouldn't have to hot wire the pump.. If you can use a Volt meter you'll be good. Just Follow the chart and post what you find or post any questions..

    Good luck!!

fouled plugs? since you got fuel, air, and spark. Change out the plugs. start again from there.
