Default Rick Ross- Album Flop - 1st week sales

I guess is not as bad since it did debut @ #1.. But only sold 158K copies.

Thats his weakest 1st week sales in 3 albums..

    hahahah FLOP -

50 > Ross... another career has ended...

All that hype and promotion... and all he had to show for was 158K..

He did have lots of hype and support from radio stations around the country. His singles are always good, but the rest of the album is 100% garbage.

In this economy and era of free downloads, 158k isn't bad. I just doubt he really sold that many, since there are rumors that Def Jam has been basicly buying there own albums to boost the hype behind the artist.

I don't know anyone who actually buys albums anymore.

I still buy albums because you have to support good music. What I usually do is listen to the previews on itunes. If I like what I hear I will buy it, but if not then I'll just get the few singles I like. I do think the music industry needs to change their pricing scheme and embrace the online market. Albums are still best for sound quality when listening to most music because the bootleg online stuff and even the itunes and amazon files are compressed where the full quality is not available.

To be honest an average CO probably has more balls than 95% of hip-hop artist.
