    Default I Vtec Controller

    I have a 2005 Rsx Type S and was wondering what the kind of i vtec controller i should get . Because i really dont know when or if its even engaging. So if u could let me know what you think.

    vtec controllers are bad, I had a 05 and 06 type-s... Vtec hits at 5800rpm, your only option is hondata reflash, or you can get a 02-04 type-s ecu and get hodata kpro

    If you just want to hear the vtec, just put a intake on... The stock intakes on the Z1's are very restrictive... K20Z1 motors respond very well to just bolt-ons I/RH/E...

    yea..get a intake sri or cai and you'll hear it around 6k rpm ...
    go ahead and get kpro now lol

    oh and we drive the same car/color

    get the kpro for the 05/06 and tune it. there are gains to be had.

    well i know i need to go k pro but i dont really have the money for that right now but sometimes it seems like it engages at different rpms but that could just be me. and think i will be get a sri this weekend but not sure yet. thanks for all the help
