    Default The 2009 Athens Twilight (30th Anniversary) April 24-25

    This weekend! April 24-25

    Where: DOWNTOWN ATHENS (Some streets close, so come early)



    This event is great, if you have not been before it is AWESOME. Huge pro bike race Saturday night, all the bars move to the streets, TONS of people, drunk college girls, it's a huge party style atmosphere.

    Friday nights top 8 electric qualifying is pretty exciting, think knockout F1 qualifying. It gets hot (no homo)

    I will be there, as I am sure tons of others on here will be. The racing is exciting, these guys that run the main race are professional riders and if you have never seen a pro bike race... They haul ass.

    I will be there competing in the BMX flatland competition. I took home 3rd place in the amateur last year. And 2nd the year before that. So maybe i can get 1st this time!

    Well I will be riding with a bunch of the pros that are coming down for the contest tonight along with the Athens guys. So i'll find out for sure then. But they are so unorganized and everything ends up being later than it's supposed to be Saturday.
