    Default ignition qeustion

    ok i just got my msd power cap and some new 8.5 mm wires,i hear a few diffrent things bout using the external coil plug on my cap,can i just bolt everything up to my stock distributor?can i use my internal high output coil with the msd external coil?and i heard i have to take my internal coil out completly,i aint 100% shure bout n e of this cuz this is my first actual ignition set up,please help me out with my confusion.

    u have to use and external coil if the cap is for an external coil.

    yea but can i still use my hgh output internal coil or even my stock one?if not what do i do take it out.

    ur internal coil is useless with an external coil cap. i dnt thing there is anywhere for ur internal coil to make contact with the cap. besdies, the wires that go to ur internal coil has to be ran to ur external coil. i think there are like 2 or 3 screws to take ur internal coil out and the 2 wires u have to take off the coil.
