Heading down I-85 south yesterday morning on my way to work. Cruising along at traffic speed when all of a sudden a semi in front of me kicks up a huge piece of sheetmetal right at my car. I can't swerve to avoid it in traffic and end up nailing it head on. The hit is loud and the metal lodges under my front end. I'm throwing sparks from under the car at this point while trying to slow down and get off the road. I pull it over and the metal is smoking like crazy from the heat buildup. I see the metal is lodged in my front end and up under my car. I pull it out only to be met with the hissing of a slashed radiator. The damage doesn't look all too bad and is limited to my front bumper and a tore up radiator. Car's not driveable though.![]()
Here's a couple pics....
