Doesnt look like anything I have ever saw and I am an outdoors, country, girl! =)
those are actually poisonous and can cause severe health problems if they bite you and it's not taken care of immediately.
Ive just always seen the big red centipedes, never seen one like that. and yeah centipedes are poisonous, be careful.

Edit: after looking at the pic again i must say, THAT FUCKER IS HUGE!! never seen one that big.. id be worried.
Actually those are beneficial bugs. They prey on other undesirable bugs like cockroaches and spiders.Originally Posted by willum14pb
They are not harmful to humans.
I got free clear tails with my ride.....
i hate those things.. we get em in the apt from time to time.. look creepy as all get out!!!
they look like a cross between a centipede and a "camel cricket"... (i could be wrong on that name.. just always been told that's what they were... those crazy crickets that look half spiderish)
yeah used to get those in my old house
they chill alot and give you chances to kill 'em but don't spook them, those motherfuckers RUN FAST AS FUCK and have crazy ninja like agility and shit

Anyway, some centipedes are poisonous, some not.
Even if it is poisonous, the worst you'll get is a rash from where it contacted your skin. They are nowhere near as poisonous as snakes and spiders, and they rarely "bite" as their fangs don't puncture human skin very well. Mostly the poison gets on you when they secrete it out and you get a rash in the shape of their tracks.
