New fairings!
Got some 08 replica cbr1000 repsol fairings for my 02 rc-51. Got the tail on, cut it to fit the rear set (it was designed as a solo rider set), got the front fender on, waiting on a drill to drill holes for my frame sliders in the new sides, and have to make a trip to the hardware store for some longer bolts for the headlight mount before I can put on the frontpiece, which I had to modify a little for good fitment. Also got some new black levers/bar sliders and waiting on some new Watsen flushmounts to show up to replace my 5led signals.
After pics tomorrow hopefully when I finish, but here's what it looked like beforehand.
My plastics were showing their age, previous owner scuffed em slightly in a couple places, the tail had a crack, vinyl was starting to peel, so I decided to change it up and go with all new stuff. Now to get the tank painted to match! (its not TOO far off, but its certainly not a match to the plastics)
