Default Geneva Auto Show - a few more added

Tons more are on my Flickr... including the incredibly ugly Gumpert Apollo... lol. If you all like these, I will gladly add more to the thread. I took hundreds.

I thought it would look better in person.... but no. It was hideous

I'll post some more when I'm not so swamped at work. Hopefully later this afternoon.

I'll post more pics when I get out of the office.

Um.... the names of both of those cars are in the pics. The top is a Koenigsegg and the bottom is a Fisker Karma S

Tickets were 14 Swiss Francs... about $12.50. Now getting there.. a little more than $12.50. My work pays for most of my travel though so I'm not really worried about it. The train from Florence to Geneva was about $50.

    Yeees...Is that a good thing?

I only took two lenses with me. Too much to carry otherwise. The 24-105 and my 50mm 1.8

So those were shot at f/4+?!! What ISO? There is no way that would be possible here under the shitty world congress center lights lol! I was using the 50mm 1.8 at 2.8 with a slow shutter and still couldn't get that much light! Even in the feature displays with additional lighting it was a pain unless it was a white or silver car.

The Geneva show is decently bright (actually really, really bright in a few spots). Most were shot at 5.0 or 5.6 and 1/40 to 1/10. The lights varied from display to display but the only one I really had trouble with was the Pagani booth. That place was like a dark little hole. I'm surprised I got the couple of decent shots I did.

Yep. I have steady hands... and when possible, I use fake tripods (existing still objects).
