Yesssss I am looking forward to this, will have Le Mans Radio on starting today! GO PEUGEOT.
Robinson racing and Drayson Racing were up at Road Atlanta last week from what I saw.
It's this weekend.
All weekend? I will be there Friday for the test day working $$ and Sunday spectating maybe on track if I get this part in I am registered for PDX but...
Why are you going? Just spectating?
Yea, just watching. I have a few buddies going so I said I'll come. I'll be there late Friday till sometime Sunday.
Just go to a bar or something Saturday evening and watch the finish of it lol, someone will probably have a TV at Road Atlanta watching it. I was camping as usual but forgot it's Sebring weekend so am skipping Saturday.
Yea, I may have to. So, where is the best place to view from? Also, what's a good bar to go to?
There is a sports bar if you turn right out of RA it's on your left when you get close to 85, right after you pass the BMW place.Originally Posted by 81911SC
Best place to watch racing at RA? We always setup camp and stuff at T3.

turn 5 is a great spot to see the downforce and corner speed of the p-cars
then turn 10 and 7 at night. 7 is a good spot to get really close to the cars and watch some off-throttle flames.
10 is a good place to see some rotors glowing and nice passing.
if your looking for outright speed, then turn 9 is where its at.
for scca, turn one, thats where the mayhem usually is. but I like 5,7, and 10.

Acura on top! with Gil de Farren no less. Scott Dixon driving the car to beat the Audis and the Peugots. Awesome effort by the whole team, that is a program that was put together really quickly and has done extremely well. I really hope the cars stay together for the whole race. I know they have had some hydraulic steering issues.
Pretty soon, everyone is gonna have 4 rear tires on their cars, hahaha.

Problems for a lot of people.
McNish is gone out front. We still have a long race to see the R15 prove itself.
BMW #90 is having trouble.
PEUGEOT > ALL
GT2 RobertsonThey are the underdog so I route for them, and they test a lot at RA.
I wonder if Audi #2 will be pulling those insane quad stints. I think Florida is to stressing on the driver to do it. Maybe 2.5-3.0 stints.
We'll see. McNish is an iron man in the car.
McNish's pass on Lamy...OMG!
He is the man!
As much as a Peugeot fan I am that was a great pass.Originally Posted by EJ25RUN

I feel dumb.....it just now hit me what BMW's use of #90 and #92 comes from lol
sux that the BMW M3 is in second in GT2 but a full lap behind Risi.
Alright Simon.....1st & 2nd for the Pugs![]()

Pretty good fight between Audi and Peugeot. That was a daring pass when they came up on the #44 car.
