It was up on here back in like September-ish. I got it from that guy, and thank god I did. This car would be sitting in someones yard somewhere with a locked up motor had I not gotten it from him. You would not believe what all was wrong with this thing. It has come soooooooooooooooo far, I could not be happier with where the car is now compared to where it was when I got it.

Pics added to thread. I left the link up for those that want to see the rest of the pictures.

And I know my pics suck. My digital cam is MIA, so if my dad will let me use his I will get some good pics, but it is a $1200 camera so I doubt he will trust me with it lol. Or if someone wants to snap some for me that would be cool.

First post edited. A lot of people have asked about the seats cuz my photobucket album has both tan and black front seats. It does have the rare black front seats.

Bump this to the top, things have changed and I am looking to get either a 4 door or an SUV of equal value. Hit me up with offers, the worst I can do is say no.

If you dont like the price or anything please do not clutter my thread with crap, just PM me.

Somebody would have a lot of fun with this car. Free bump for a guy who was willing to give a ton of information and was very honest when I asked about the car.

I swear Id pick it up if not for that syncro issue.

Sounds like itd be a great car for somebody looking for a fun ass DD with some kick, and a great weekend going out car.

Thanks for the bump man. The syncro issue isnt as bad as it sounds, it still goes into gear it just grinds sometimes. Its not like it prevents the car from going into gear altogether.

But that would explain why you never PM'ed me back lol.

BUMP for a good guy and nice car. This would be a great buy for someone. Pat is a very honest guy. I own his old 1g.

About that syncro issue, they are not that big of a deal. Heck, the 1g had it when I got it from someone else... I changed clutch and now it shifts like butter into 2nd. Would love to have this car if I had something to trade!!! 98 GST/GSX are my favorite cars. GLWS bro!

Also, I know his father and him have put a LOT of work into this car just since he has had it! It is definitely worth what he wants for it.

And like I said, the car is way clean, and great condition. Its the perfect platform for a FMIC/b16g/ and roll with it car. I was just looking into something for road courses, and with all the 3-2 shifts, I dont need the thought of a missed shift there, ya know. If youre saying it doesnt reject the gear or kick it, just makes a little noises, thats a bit different scenario, however. Possibly could live with that. I would just hate for either of us to drive X hours only to have that issue be the deal killer if it was the grind that made the gear try and reject the shifting.

Damn you, "Tim", even though I dont know you. You now have me contemplating this all over again. I do have one question that went unanswered, that might be useful for anybody else reading this thread, the rest we can take to PMs... But, what is used to tune for the 550cc injectors? SAFC2? Or what?

Good. GET IT!!! lol I promise ya man, it's worth it. I haven't looked at all the post, but I have seen the pics of the inside of this motor when his dad worked on it. it is CLEAN on the inside even!!! You can also buy an evo 3 big 16G for CHEAP! Heck, I sold mine for $200. DOOOO EEEEET!!!!

You can use a SAFC2 for the 550cc injectors with no problem. I street tuned the 1g with 680s with a SAFC2.

    Im no stranger to DSMs
    This would be number 7. Four 1Gs, a GVR4, and a 2G, all AWD.
I was just asking WHAT he used to tune for the 550s.
And also what was done to eliminate the "wtfmisfire" from a 6bolt swap? Theres gotta be a Keydiver chip or SAFC2 or something. Just trying to figure what

First thing Id have to do would be buy an LSD, hehe.

Right now there is nothing being used to tune it, hence why I drive it like a baby. It doesnt go over 4500 rpm's and its only boosting 9PSI. I can get you a killer deal on an SAFC1 for $100. It has a 1g CAS swapped in and it never threw a misfire code, only the code for no cat. Now it has codes for EGR and I believe MAP sensor as well, but still no misfire codes.
