    Is the head still on the block? If it is you could use the compressed air method to keep the valves up. I had a mitsi motor and used rope in the spark plug hole. I turned the crank till the rope was smashed in there to keep the valves from falling in to the combustion chamber. Hope this helps.

    LOL nope it isnt....

    im gunna return the compression tester tool because the VALVES DO NOT DROP, PISTONS HOLD THEM UP...just like i thought..., just can only do the outer ones first, then inner 2 pistons...


    but now i need a valve steam seal puller, they are all stuck...

    You should be able to pull em off with a pair of plyers, twisting a little.

    I have a valve spring tool, that is hand held, works great. Got it off the mac truck...
