    It's not a shoe string, The shift-boot is after-market (aka advanced auto) or something in that nature. It holds the top together lol

    Better than no shift boot, clean black suede one is on its way

    I wish there wasn't any glare on the faceplates. You have a shift pattern on the console. Nice...even though, your hand is on the shifter you will never have to remove it, to see where you need to shift the stick.
