speed usually shows it. If you can get a good proxy, you can get into the WSBK website TV and watch it live.

    http://www.worldsbk.com/pubb_EN/sbkTV.php

    I usually download.

I gotta admit though, Speed's coverage is done by Johnathon Green and he's pretty good.

New Superpole is awesome. It is just like the F1 format with these 12 minute sessions.

Makes it much more interesting but Corser (King of "old" Superpole) got caught out by not using one of the 2 qualifing tires ealy. Biaggi though, good work on the Aprilia.

I rooted for Haga when he was the Yamaha. I like Haga but he seems to always fade as the race gets late. I don't know if he gets mentally or physically stressed.

But for this season I have to go w/ Ben Spies. He won the Superpole and Race 2. That's awesome for the first race of the season. I'm a Yamaha fan whomever is on the bike.

Expect spoilers after the 2nd post.

I will be changing post #2 throughout the season to give the latest updates on each race weekend. I wont post race finishes but i will post those of Superpole. Posts after that, will be all spoilers as it will be race discussion.

Basically, on Sunday, dont enter here unless you know who won.

I forgot to throw up the link to British Eurosport but if you wanna watch live, check their schedule and convert to U.S. Est time.

On the way to watch the race itself......

    Consider this,

Speedtv gives 1 hour with lots of commercials. Race 1 missed two important passes between Haga and Max Neukirchner due to commercials. Then Haga was cut off before he finished his interview. The only good thing about Speed's coverage is Johnaton Green commentating.

    On the other hand.....

Eurosport has James Whitham and Jack Burniclecommentating.

There are no commercials whatsoever and the broadcasts runs from the bikes first sitting on the grid with the umbrella girls, to the very end of the interviews and recaps. In other words, i wouldn't watch it any other way.

If i miss it live, as i did this time since the stream was chopped up, i download it as i do with everything else in 16:9 Great quality.

*Off topic* But if we had a scooter and a factory Yamaha jacket my dad thinks I should ride around Road Atlanta when Ben Spies is there and be his look alike. My dad thinks I could pass for him if I shave lol

Just thought it was funny. Go Spies!!

    FasterandFaster....

How fast are the 2009 WSBK bikes?

Ever wonder just how fast those World Superbikes machines really are? During practice yesterday, at the Losail International Circuit in Doha, Qatar, Max Neukirchner’s Suzuki GSX-R1000 hit a top speed of 314km/h, Max Biaggi’s Aprilia RSV4 did 313km/h, Noriyuki Haga’s Ducati 1098R F09 did 311km/h, Tommy Hill’s Honda CBR1000RR did 310km/h, Makoto Tamada’s Kawasaki ZX-10R also did 310km/h and Ben Spies Yamaha YZF-R1 did 309km/h. Troy Corser’s BMW S1000RR was way down the charts, at just 300km/h. But then, of course, the season has just begun…

Got race 2 and the Super Sport race downloading now!

    WSBK...

Damn, Ben spies is something else. I am thrilled that Haga got second in both races though. The Ducati was definetly down on top speed to both the Yamaha and the Aprilia. Oh about that Aprilia, both Max and Shinja were doing real good on that bike. Rare to see success out of the box especially in WSBK.

    GO HAGA!

SuperSport race: Pitt cant seem to buy a win if he wanted to. He gets Sofoglu out the way, and Laverty just gets him on the run to the line. Oh, i want to say good race to Garry Mccoy as well. The Vet can still show the young guns what its like to be on top. All that on a Triumph.

*UPDATE* post #2 has all the race results!

Yesterday was a pretty busy day for me in terms of watching Superbikes race.

Saw 3 races at Road Atlanta and watched 3 more from the WSBK and WSS ranks.

    I'll make it brief........GO HAGA!

I won't post results till Tuesay. BTW, Spies fans, dont miss race 1.

So Ben Spies runs out of gas in race 1 and Haga gets hit by a bird in 2.

The worst bad luck of the weekend goes to Max for his fractured femur.

    Get well asap bud.
