Default Question on burning a program to a cd/dvd

forgive me if this is in the wrong section.....

ok so i have the program "reason 4" on my computer and a buddy of mine wants me to burn him a copy of it so that he can have it. what i am wandering is how to do it. i am sure it is simple, but i have never burnt a program to a cd before. can someone give me insight into doing it? and what program should i use. im pretty sure windows media player will not burn it. but how do you do it. i have been holding out for almost a month or two on burning for him, mainly cause i didnt have time to do it. but i feel bad and want to ge tit done. i tried to last night but then realized i had no idea how to do it. can someone give me some insight?!

sorry if this is a stupid question!

you can use a program calle alcohol 120% and if you have the install files you can place them on the disc and burn it or you can copy the install disc you have
